Great Goal By the Eagles Sends Them to Next Round of CIF
The Santa Margarita Eagles hosted Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks. They played the previous week to a 1-1 tie. Great game all around by both teams but one goal makes all the difference. Clutch Goal & Save Secures Eagles Trinity League Championship
On the line, the Trinity League Varsity Soccer League Championship as the Santa Margarita Lady Eagles took on the JSerra Lady Lions at JSerra Catholic High School. It came down to one clutch goal by Felicity Nquyen in the first half and three saves by goalie Lauren Rose as she came off the bench three-quarters of the way into the game after starting goalie Kaitlin Crossett was ejected for a slide tackle on JSerra. Thriller & Instant Classic - Eagles Win Championship in OT!
The Santa Margarita Eagles Girls Varsity Soccer Team scored first and then exchanged goals with the Santiago Sharks as this game went into OT and then sudden death penalty kicks. Santiago Sharks Ground Eagles to Win CIF-SS Title
