Eagles Tigers Match Decided by Tie Breaker - Great Wrestling by Both Teams
The San Jacinto Tigers traveled a long way to take on the Santa Margarita Eagle Wrestlers. An exciting night under the lights as wrestling in Moiso Pavilion is electric. The dual meet was decided by a unique tie breaker. Eagle Wrestlers Up-End Don Lugo at Home
Santa Margarita held its first wrestling dual match at home in the gym in 10 years and they did not disaapoint. The Eagles hosted Don Lugo and it was a special evening under the lights in Moiso Pavillion. Coach Zach Merrill has his team primed and ready for the season and his wrestlers showcased their talents against a talented Don Lugo team. Paul J. Higgins has all the great wrestling action. SM Sets Record For Fall Commitment Day
Forty-five student-athletes from Santa Margarita Catholic High School celebrated their commitment to attend colleges nationwide to continue their athletic careers, marking the largest fall commitment celebration in the school’s history.
The milestone surpasses the previous record by 11 student-athletes, with 34 Class of 2023 graduates celebrating their commitments in the fall of 2022. This year's group consists of 31 girls and 14 boys spanning 13 different sports. Leading the way are nine student-athletes from the girls swim team, who helped lead the team to three consecutive Trinity League, CIF-Southern Section Division I and state championships. Other strong representation comes from softball with eight commitments, five from baseball and four each from boys lacrosse, girls soccer and girls volleyball. The group also includes three football players. Dozens more SMCHS student-athletes are expected to sign later this school year.

Braves Down by 13 Advance to Semi Finals, Eagles Season Grounded
It takes St. John Bosco only 3 plays in their opening drive to score a TD. The Eagles bounce back with a long drive to answer. They open up a 13 point lead only to see Bosco fight their way back. The game, ultimately, decided by a missed PAT early in the game came down to the final play of the game. SM Girls Golf Soars to 6th Straight Trinity League Title
The Eagles are one of the best High School Girls Golf Teams in the country. They have 2 State Championships and a National Championship to their credit. SM Eagles Take Flight with Jack Junker's 3 TD's - Advance in CIF-SS Playoffs
Before Halftime Jack Junker already had a full night. He and QB John Gazzaniga connected on three long bombs for touchdowns as the Eagles got out to an early lead over Inglewood and never looked back. Trent Mosley would add 2 touchdowns, 1 by Duce Smith, 1 running score by Gazzaniga and a TD by senior Fisher Melton. Lancers Win D1 Championship in a Thriller Against Newport Harbor

Natalie Keith Throws 5 TD's Northwood Wins D2 Championship
The Northwood Timberwolves won the CIF-SS Division 2 Championship as they beat the Mustangs of Trabuco Hills 31-17. The game was played at Fred Kelly Stadium in Orange, California in front of a great crowd representing both schools. Nortwood QB Natalie Keith was on target throwing an incredible 5 touchdown passes. The Mustangs played hard and made a run at the Timberwolves but a first half interception changed the game and the momenteum going into the second half. Amazing action as Paul J.
