Fueled by six touchdowns by Trent Mosley the Eagles finally got off the bus in the second quarter to come from behind to win their third game of the season. Eagles Fly Past the Patriots in Bakersfield
The Santa Margarita Eagles took their game on the road to Bakersfield, California to take on the Liberty Patriots. The Patriots got off to a fast start but the Eagles quickly answered. Trent Mosley had an exceptional game as the sophomore scores almost every time he touches the ball. The Eagles defense rose to the occassion in front of a raucious Patriot crowd. Huskies Eagles Live Up to Hype in Week 2
Week 2 of the High School Fpptball Season pitted two-teams destined for post season play even if it's only the second game of the year. The Centennial Huskies were playing back to back Trinity League schools as one week ago they lost to Mater Dei. On the road they played the Santa Margarita Eagles at Saddleback College. The ball took some crazy bounces on both sides as these two teams played an entertaining game of high school football. Credit the Eagles down their starting QB as Hunter Melton has stepped innicely. The Huskies are well rounded and it showed. The Eagles line on both sides are already coming into their own. Paul J. Higgins has all the action. The Saints Halt the Path of the Eagles
The Crean Lutheran Saints hosted the Santa Margarita Eagles in Girls High School Flag Football. Defense played a major role in this one and some clutch plays by the Saints was the difference in the Saints first win of the season. The Eagles certainly had their bright spots as they take what they learned from this one to regroup for the exciting season to come. SM Eagles Make Flag Football History
The Santa Margarita Eagles hosted the Dana Hills Dolphins in the first Girls Flag Football Game in school history. Not only did they play they shutout the Dolphins in convincing fashion scoring on both saides of the ball. The Dolphins played well but the Eagles outperformored the Dolphins with a quick defensive touchdown. Exceptional flag football in a very entertaining game. Enjoy as Paul J. AIM Classic 1987 CV SC Football, Mud Bowl and SB College FB
Incredible week of action in the Fall of 1987. Paul brings you football with Capistrano Valley (Coach Dick Enright) and San Clemente (Coach Dave Elecciri) as the friends face off against each other. The Orange Panthers and the Woodbridge Warriors face off in a mud bowl while Saddleback College host Palomar College in Saturday afternoon football. Two undefeated 6-0 freshman teams square off as Trabuco Hills hosts the Orange Panthers in a rain soaked field at Trabuco Hills High School. Brett Johnson and the El Toro Chargers take on the San Clemente Tritons. Sean Drinkwater and Jason Vivona were offensive weapons for Coach Bob Johnson. The Capistrano Valley Cougars cruise to 7-0 with a win over the Dana Hills Dolphins. Amazing look back into Orange County Football history with Paul J. Higgins in his own classic form. Eagles Advance to SoCal D1 Championship
The SM Eagles Baseball team defeated the Rancho Bernardo Broncos to advance to the 2023 SoCal Division 1 Championship Game. Eagles Baseball Advance to DI Championship
The Santa Margarita Eagles Baseball Team, behind excellent pitching by Samuel Cova, hot bats by Blake Balsz, Blake Wilson and a clutch homerun by Zach Fjelstad cruised to a 5-1 win over the Orange Lutheran Lancers to the CIF-SS Division 1 Championship.
