Eagles Wins Streak Ends, Olympians Capitalize on Penalty
The Eagles of Santa Margarita traveled to Lawndale, CA for their final non-league game of the season. They faced the undefeated Leuziner Olympians. The Eagles best player, Trent Mosley, was sidelined and did not play. That was a relief to the Olympians but the Eagles still came out and scored first. A tight game to the end, a wild penalty after and Eagles TD, a pass interference call in the end zone off an SM interception and a late TD by the Olympians were the difference makers in this game. A tough loss for the Eagles as they get ready to play Mater Dei for the Trinity League opener. Paul J. Higgins has all the great action. Senior Night For Eagles - They Dominate Liberty In All Aspects of Game
It was Senior Night for the Eagles and they didn't disappoint. The Eagles new home for their games is Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, CA. Senior and Captain Luke Anderson led the way on defense with two interceptions with one being a Pick 6 to cap off the scoring for the Eagles as they beat Liberty of Baskersfield, CA 42-3. Diablos Keep Eagles Grounded in Highly Anticipated Game
It was a highly anticipated matchup between the Santa Margarita Eagles and the Mission Viejo Diablos. The Diablos got out to a quick lead of 6-0 and never looked back. Turnovers were the Eagles worst enemy in this there first game of the season. The Diablos improved to 2-0 as they picked up from where they left off last season. Eagles Score 10 Goals in 3rd - Advance in Post Season
The Los Alamitos Griffins traveled to Santa Margarita Catholic High School for the first round of the CIF-SS Lacrosse Playoffs. After the Eagles cored 4 unanswered goals in the 1st quarter things settled down in the 2nd only for the Eagles to explode in the 3rd scoring 10 goals breaking the game wide open. Enjoy as Paul J.
