Eagles Wins Streak Ends, Olympians Capitalize on Penalty
The Eagles of Santa Margarita traveled to Lawndale, CA for their final non-league game of the season. They faced the undefeated Leuziner Olympians. The Eagles best player, Trent Mosley, was sidelined and did not play. That was a relief to the Olympians but the Eagles still came out and scored first. A tight game to the end, a wild penalty after and Eagles TD, a pass interference call in the end zone off an SM interception and a late TD by the Olympians were the difference makers in this game. Senior Night For Eagles - They Dominate Liberty In All Aspects of Game
It was Senior Night for the Eagles and they didn't disappoint. The Eagles new home for their games is Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo, CA. Senior and Captain Luke Anderson led the way on defense with two interceptions with one being a Pick 6 to cap off the scoring for the Eagles as they beat Liberty of Baskersfield, CA 42-3.
